All trails at Hobbs State Park now open

After six months of tree and brush removal following January's ice storm, all trails at Hobbs State Park-Conservation Area are now open to the public. The park suffered more than 100 trees down per mile along its 34 miles of trails.

The final section cleared was the War Eagle Loop of the Hidden Diversity Multi-Use Trail, which is six miles long and features a scenic overlook of War Eagle Creek Valley. The park offers four trails - the Shaddox Hollow Nature Trail, Historic Van Winkle Trail, Pigeon Roost Trail and the Hidden Diversity Multi-Use Trail.
