Driver-safety class planned

BELLA VISTA — A driver-safety class has been scheduled for Aug. 20 at First Western Bank, 575 Memorial Drive in Bella Vista. This will be a one-day, four-hour class from 12:30 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. Class size is limited, and preregistration is required. Those over 55 who complete the course will receive a certificate and be entitled to a reduction of their automobile-insurance premiums for three years. The cost of the class is $10. Pool party bash on Aug. 7
The first annual Hannah's Hope Pool Party Bash will be held from 6:30 p.m. to 9 p.m. Aug. 7 at the Siloam Springs Aquatic Center, 1600 N. Mount Olive. There will be family friendly music, along with a silent auction and raffle. A chicken appetizer basket, chips, granola bar and drink will be available for $5.
