— A Pea Ridge couple was injured in a onevehicle accident on Interstate 40 in Oklahoma.

O.B.Gladish,80,was taken by Eagle Med helicopter ambulance to Sparks Hospital in Fort Smith with trunk internal injuries,according to the state police report.His wife, Nona Gladish,81,was transported by Pafford EMS to Sparks Hospital where she was admitted for arm and leg injuries and listed in stable condition.

The accident happened at about 12:26 p.m.Sunday,July 26,in Sequoyah County, Okla.

According to the report,the 2008 Harley Davidson with attached side car motorcycle was eastbound on I-40 and exiting lane of traffic to the right shoulder.Apparently the driver lost control of the vehicle as it traveled over the rumble strip,left the roadway and traveled about 540 feet into the tree line causing the driver to be ejected.
