Four arrested in party scuffle

FAYETTEVILLE Two men, who were thrown out of a house party early Sunday for allegedly using drugs, returned with two friends, and all four were arrested on charges of breaking into the home and threatening and assaulting people inside.
Joseph Rampley, 19, is being held in the Washington County Detention Center in connection with aggravated residential burglary, engaging in violent group criminal activity and aggravated assault.
Harold E. Jester, 58, is being held in connection with aggravated residential burglary, engaging in violent group criminal activity and six counts of aggravated assault.
Shane Solomon, 29, and Jordon Jester, 19, are being held in connection with aggravated residential burglary and engaging in violent group criminal activity.
Rampley and both Jesters are listed as living at 523 E. Prospect St. in Fayetteville. Solomon is listed as living at 818 S. College Ave., Apt. 1, in Fayetteville.
Officers were called to a home at 2578 E. Neely Road at 3:50 a.m. and were told a person there was holding a rifle with a scope, according to a preliminary report from Fayetteville police. The officers arrived to hear screaming and loud, aggressive yelling.
Harold "Ed" Jester walked in front of a vehicle holding a rifle, which he handed to his son, Jordan Jester, according to a report. The son put the rifle in the back seat of a white Chevy Suburban.
Officers then ordered several people to the ground, and 10 people were ordered from the home and told to sit on the ground.
Police were told that occupants of the home had a party, and Jordan Jester and Rampley were asked to leave because they were using cocaine. A physical fight ensued, and the twomen were forced out.
Residents went to bed but were awakened by a pounding on the front door and men cursing, yelling and demanding they come outside and fight.
Jordan Jester and Rampley had retur ned with Shane Solomon and Ed Jester, police were told. Ed Jester was pointing a rifle at the home. A woman went outside and Ed Jester threatened her, according to the report, when Rampley entered the home through an unlocked side door. He struck a man inside with a club or bat, "breaking open his head," according to the report.
All four were handcuffed. Jester struggled with officers when they tried to place him a vehicle, causing an officer to have a torn pant leg and a knee abrasion, according to the report.
