Australia firm imitates Sam's to resist Costco

Woolworth following Wal-Mart's lead

Australia's Woolworths Ltd., facing a challenge from U.S. retailer Costco Wholesale Corp., is taking a page from Wal-Mart Stores Inc.'s playbook to protect its 31 percent share of the nation's grocery market.
