Louise Mullins Stacks

CANE HILL — Louise Mullins Stacks, 77, died Dec. 27, 2009, at Washington Regional Medical Center in Fayetteville. She was born April 15, 1932, in Madison County to William and Belle Patrick Mullins.

Survivors include her husband, Charles; one son, Harold Stacks of Morrow; five sisters, including Gladys Redau, Marie Winn and Julie Gooding, all of Fayetteville, and Norma Bryant of Hindsville; six grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren.

Services will be at 10 a.m. Friday at Luginbuel Chapel in Prairie Grove. Burial will be in the White Oak Cemetery in Savoy.

Pansy Burns

FAYETTEVILLE — Pansy Burns, 73, of Fayetteville died Dec. 29, 2009, at North Hills Life Care & Rehab.

She was born March 22, 1936, in Fayetteville, the daughter of Louis and Lillie Doss Center. She was preceded in death by her parents; a daughter, Patty Drummond Hill; and three brothers, Tommy Center, Bill Skelton and Jim Williams.

She was a homemaker and a Christian.

She is survived by three daughters, Sherry Kay Drummond of Fayetteville, Anita Allen and her husband, Ronnie, of Jay, Okla., and Lisa Drummond of Elkins; a son, Michael Burns of California; four sisters, Violet Pense and her husband, Loyd, of Winslow, Mary Mosquera of Fayetteville, Daisy Bruns and her husband, Carl, of Van Buren, and Virginia Bayley and her husband, Loyd, of Farmington; three brothers, Kenneth Center and his wife, Beverly, of Greenland, James Cartwright and his wife, Linda, of Farmington, and David Cartwright and his wife, Vicky, of Fayetteville; six grandchildren, Wesley Drummond, Rachel Workman, Leslie Drummond, Genie Drummond, William Hill and Joshua Hill; and one great-grandchild, Braydyn Drummond.

Funeral service will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday at Moore’s Chapel. Burial will be in Baptist Ford Cemetery.

Visitation will be from noon to 1 p.m. Saturday at Moore’s Chapel.

Pallbearers will be Mike Bayley, George Center, Gene Center, Ronnie Cartwright, Dennis Cartwright and Carl Bruns II.

Clifton Everett Gabbard

ELKINS — Clifton Everett Gabbard, 69, died Dec. 28, 2009, at Washington Regional Medical Center in Fayetteville. He was born July 22, 1940, in Durham to Clyde Troy and Melva Margaret Mason Gabbard.

He was a truck driver and attended Durham Free Will Baptist Church.

Survivors include his wife, Judy; four sons, Bill Gabbard and wife Sandy of Huntsville, Mike Gabbard and wife Georgia, and Tim Gabbard and wife Donna all of Elkins, and Luke Gabbard and wife Audra of Springdale; a daughter, Heather Childs and husband Richard of Springdale; two stepsons, Victor Stephens and wife Shaun of Japton, and Marty Allen and wife Cecil of Cabot; a stepdaughter, Lyndie Stephens of Rogers; mother, Melva Gabbard of Elkins; a sister, Wanda Drummond of Elkins; eight grandchildren; six step-grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; two step-great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be from 1 p.m. to service time Saturday at Durham Free Will Baptist Church.

Services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at the church.

Burial will be in Mount Olive Cemetery.

Margaret Christine Dotson

FARMINGTON — Margaret Christine Dotson, 91, of Farmington passed away Dec. 29, 2009, in Farmington. She was born Feb. 1, 1918, in Pitkin, the daughter of C.A. and Dora Alice Schooler Rosebeary.

She was a homemaker and a member of the Farmington Baptist Church.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 60 years, Earnest Lee Dotson; her parents; and eight siblings.

She is survived by her daughter, Carol Crownover and husband, James, of Elm Springs; two grandsons, Joel Crownover of Fort Smith, Brian and Kristine Crownover of Cave Springs; two great-grandchildren; one brother, Lee Rosebeary of Watts, Okla.; and one sister, Bonita Thomas of Fayetteville.

Graveside services will be held at 10 a.m. today in the Farmington Cemetery, with Pastor John Smedley officiating.
