PINE BLUFF A Pine Bluff police officer responding to an early morning call has helped deliver a baby.
Police Sgt. Greg Holland says Officer Jonathan Fallis was sent to a house to assist medical personnel early Tuesday. Fallis arrived first and found Keyanna Anderson lying on the floor and in labor.
Fallis reported that he helped deliver the child, then wrapped it in a blanket and used a bulb syringe to clear the baby’s airway.
Holland says emergency medical personnel took the mother and child to a nearby hospital.
