Service for Clifton Everett Gabbard, 69, of Elkins, who died Monday, will be 2 p.m. Saturday at Durham Freewill Baptist Church. He was born July 22, 1940, in Durham to Clyde Troy and Melva Margaret Mason Gabbard. He was preceded in death by sons Timmy Gabbard and Tommy Gabbard. Survivors include wife Judy Phillips Gabbard of Elkins; children Bill Gabbard of Huntsville, Mike Gabbard and Tim Gabbard of Elkins, and Luke Gabbard and Heather Childs of Springdale; stepchildren Victor Stephens of Japton, Marty Allen of Cabot and Lyndie Stephens of Rogers; his mother of Elkins; sister Wanda Drummond of Elkins; eight grandchildren; six stepgrandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and two stepgreat-grandchildren. She was born March 22, 1936, in Fayetteville to Louis and Lillie Doss Center. She was preceded in death by daughter Patty Drummond Hill and brothers Tommy Center, Bill Skelton and Jim Williams.
