TULSA EDISON 49, SPRINGDALE HAR-BER 43

Springdale Har-Ber (4-7) couldn’t overcome a sluggish offensive start Tuesday, falling to Tulsa Edison in the semifinals of the Springdale Har-Ber Holiday Tournament.

The Wildcats missed their first 10 field goals and didn’t convert a shot until Chris Bayles’ layup with 4:36 left in the first half. They made only 3 of 11 first-half free throws and finished 13 of 27 from the line.

Bayles scored 18 points to lead Har-Ber. Desmond Butler had a game-high 19 points to pace Edison, which will play Garland (Texas) Lakeview Centennial at 4:15 today in the championship game.

LAKEVIEW CENTENNIAL 76, CONWAY 69

The Patriots (13-3) handed Conway (9-2) only its second loss this season, fueled by Toddrick Gotcher’s 24 points.

Kenyon McNeaill scored 23 points to lead Conway, and Preston Purifoy added 21 for the Wampus Cats.

Lakeview Centennial scored 15 consecutive points spanning the first and second quarters to take a 25-10 lead, but Conway rallied to within 36-29 by halftime. Purifoy then trimmed the deficit to 62-60 on a layup with 2:15 left.

The Patriots responded with seven consecutive points to clinch a spot in today’s title game.

SILOAM SPRINGS 63, SHILOH CHRISTIAN 53

Junior guard Kyle Teague scored a career-high 40 points, leading Siloam Springs (8-4) past Shiloh Christian (4-6).

Teague drilled seven three-pointers and made 14 of 17 free-throw attempts.

Teague scored 29 points in the first three quarters, including 14 in the third.

Shiloh’s David Matthews scored all 14 of his team-high points in the third period.

CLEAR BROOK 58, GREENWOOD 45

Daren Smith scored a game-high 18 points as the Wolverines (8-8) held off Greenwood (3-10).

Spencer Harris scored 14 points to lead the Bulldogs.

BENTON 59, HOT SPRINGS 45

Eddie Poland and Trey Davis scored 15 points each and the Panthers (6-5)jumped out to a 20-7 lead after one quarter on their way to a victory over the Trojans (5-6) in the semifinals at the Hot Springs Convention Center.

Jacarri Tollette led Hot Springs with 14 points while Michael Young added 11.

OAK GROVE 51, BRYANT 46

Oak Grove trailed 40-33 entering the final quarter but held Bryant to six fourthquarter points for a consolation-round victory.

Cedric Williams led Oak Grove with 14 points while Josh Perkins added 11.

CENTRAL ARK. CHRISTIAN 80, MOUNTAIN PINE 44

Nathan Beene scored 19 points as the Mustangs whipped the Red Devils in a consolation game.

CAC outscored Mountain Pine 25-7 in the second quarter and held a 47-21 lead at the half.

EL DORADO 65, LAFAYETTE COUNTY 57

Deon Miner paced the Wildcats (4-4) with 25 points in a semifinal victory over the Cougars (8-5) in Camden.

Cornelius Watson added 12 for El Dorado, which led 39-30 at the half. Jordan Johnson scored 18 for Lafayette County, while Damaurion Ward added 15.

MALVERN 55, DUMAS 35

Deshawndra Randall led the Lady Leopards (12-1) with 23 points in a semifinal victory over the Lady Cats (7-3) in Camden.

Corredur Vaden added 12 and Deandra Allen 10 for Malvern, which outscored Dumas 26-10 in the third quarter. Kiara Ridgell led Dumas with nine points.

WATSON CHAPEL 50, CAMDEN FAIRVIEW 35

Nashia James led the Lady Wildcats (8-3) with 26 points in a consolationround victory over the Lady Cardinals (3-8).

Marva Graves led Fairview with 14 points while Sheba Goode added 10.

HOT SPRINGS 43, BENTON 34

Ericka House scored 17 points and Shakela Shaw 12 as the Lady Trojans (6-5) defeated the Lady Panthers in a consolation game at the Hot Springs Convention Center.

Julie Davis led Benton with 15 points.
