Where I live: I live in Rogers. What I like most about my home is the large backyard and that it is centrally located to many amenities.

Occupation: I am a social worker and have spent my entire working life in the nonprofit sector. In 2006, after a couple years of talking about it, I founded the Arkansas Visitation and Exchange Center (avecinc.org). The organization was born out of the need that families, the courts and other professionals had for affordable, yet qualified (and neutral) professionals to supervise visitations and provide safe exchanges of children. AVEC remains the only program of its kind in the state of Arkansas.

My favorite space: At home with my family.

Why? I am a homebody, and my home is my sanctuary. It is where I can relax and thoroughly enjoy time with my two kids, my husband and three dogs.

If I could do one thing to improve this space I would: Add a basement so we could have a dedicated play/toy space, or at least better toy storage. My kids’ toys have taken over most of the house. At times it gets a little unruly and it seems like we are always picking up.
