Arrests

Benton County Sheriff’s Office

James Almond Kemp, 22, of 12543 Scenic Drive in Rogers was arrested Wednesday in connection with second-degree sexual assault. Kemp was being held Thursday in the Benton County Jail in lieu of a $20,000 bond.

Fayetteville

Angela Witt, 26, 3132 Rockford St., Fayetteville, was arrested Wednesday in connection with theft of property. She remained jailed Thursday in lieu of $2,500 bond.

Rogers

Andriana Ruiz, 31, of 640 S. 12th St., was arrested Thursday in connection with felony first-degree forgery and misdemeanor obstructing governmental operations. Ruiz was being held Thursday in the Benton County Jail with no bond set.

Springdale

Ashley Jean Combs, 25, of 166 Combs Lane, was arrested Thursday in connection with felony possession of a controlled or counterfeit substance, second offense. Combs was being held Thursday in the Benton County Jail with no bond set.

Craig Burnett, 45, 3101 Karen Ave., Springdale, was arrested Thursday in connection with aggravated assault. He remained jailed Thursday afternoon in lieu of $5,000 bond.

Washington County Sheriff’s Office

Larry Adams, 41, 111 F St. NE, Miami, Okla., was arrested Wednesday in connection with forgery. He was release on $2,500 bond.

Jenilee Norrell, 27, 837 S. Cherry St., Siloam Springs, was arrested Thursday in connection with fraudulent use of a credit card and theft by receiving. She was released of $2,500 bond.

Circuit Court

Washington County

Laura Celeste Demaris, 42, pleaded guilty to stealing $33,993 from her employer. Demaris was sentenced to 10 years at the Arkansas Department of Correction with eight years suspended and ordered to pay restitution. She was given credit for one day jail time served.

Kevin Jerome Buchanan, 24, pleaded guilty to theft by receiving, failure to appear and possession of marijuana, second offense. Buchanan was sentenced to three months at the Arkansas Department of Correction and ordered to complete a drug treatment program. He was given credit for 322 days jail time served.

Sydney Josephine Elliott, 26, pleaded guilty to possession of drug paraphernalia. Elliott was sentenced to five years probation and fined $1,000. She was given credit for 93 days jail time served.

Erick Malcolm Sharp, 18, pleaded guilty to possession of marijuana. Sharp was sentenced to one year probation and fined $1,000.

Elizabeth Kay Faulkner, 24, pleaded guilty to fraudulent use of a credit card. Faulkner was sentenced to five years probation, fined $1,000 and ordered to pay $520 victim restitution. She was given credit for 60 days jail time served.

Donald Eugene Cotton, 41, pleaded guilty to possession of marijuana, second offense, and two counts of possession of marijuana with intent to deliver. Cotton was sentenced to 10 years at the Arkansas Department of Correction with three years suspended.

Annette Louis Cotton, 37, pleaded guilty to possession of marijuana and possession of an instrument of crime. Cotton was sentenced to one year probation and fined $1,000.

Brandon S. Cobler, 21, pleaded guilty to breaking or entering. Cobler was sentenced to four years probation, fined $1,000 and ordered to pay $250 victim restitution. He was given credit for two days jail time served.

Bobby Lee Edens, 55, pleaded guilty to third-degree domestic battery, second offense. Edens was sentenced to three years probation, 40 days in jail with credit for time served and fined $1,000.

Gregory Eugene Hall, 21, pleaded guilty to violating terms of probation from a failure to register as a sex offender conviction. Hall was sentenced to 10 years at the Arkansas Department of Correction with seven years suspended and ordered to remain registered.

Tyler Wayne Yeakley, 21, pleaded guilty to aggravated assault. Yeakley was sentenced to five years at the Arkansas Department of Correction with four years suspended.

Anthony Michael Smith, 21, pleaded guilty to residential burglary, theft of property, breaking or entering, commercial burglary, theft by receiving and criminal mischief. Smith was sentenced to 20 years at the Arkansas Department of Correction with 12 years suspended.

John Charles Adams, 28, pleaded guilty to possession drug paraphernalia with the intent to make methamphetamine. Adams was sentenced to 10 years with five years and six months suspended.

Jerry D. Briley, 49, pleaded guilty to possession of methamphetamine and possession of drug paraphernalia. Briley was sentenced to 10 years at the Arkansas Department of Correction with three years suspended.

Accident

Bentonville

Emergency personnel responded to a multivehicle collision on Southeast 14th Street in front of Wal-Mart Fitness Center at 10:33 a.m. Thursday. Two ambulances transported three people, one in critical condition, to Northwest Medical Center-Bentonville. Paramedics and firefighters had to use hydraulic machines to free one of the victims. Four of the five lanes on Southeast 14th Street were blocked and police detoured westbound traffic around side streets.

Karen Kilby, 501 N.W. “B” St., reported Thursday that a window in her apartment was broken and her purse with money and medications in it stolen.

Ron Baker, 1109 N.W. “K” St., reported Wednesday that his father's wallet with a large amount of cash in it had been stolen.

Elizabeth Perez, 308 Southern Trace Drive, reported Wednesday an man attempted break-in.

Andrea Coggins reported a burglary at Lucky C Mart at 2401 W. Olive St. on Wednesday.

Leaon Harlow, calling from 1149 W. New Hope Road, reported Wednesday that someone has tried to break into several offices at the New Hope Health and Rehab.

Ashley Harrison, 4404 W. Walnut St. reported a man took a wireless Bluetooth device on Wednesday.

Aniti White, calling from 506 W. Poplar St., reported Wednesday the theft of a digital camera from the Benton County School of the Arts.

Kristan Apple reported Thursday a breaking or entering at 2802-A Ruth Ave.

Carlos Figueroa reported Wednesday a burglary at 1705 Lowell Road Apt. G203.
