i think that is great it is usually drier that time of the year and warmer also.

I liked the BC Fair to be in Sept that way my children could attend both WC and BC fairs. Moving it back may cause timing conflicts for that now. The kids like WC midway a lot better more rides and games.

When the fair moved and didn't have all the fun 'fair' food we quit going. Part of the appeal was all the local organizations serving hamburgers etc. It lost it's character when it moved.

The rides are horrible! the article says that all rides were safe, looked to me that they were put together with wire hangers, and hopes and dreams. To top it all off all the operators looked like sex offenders fresh out of prison. The best part was the wildlife safari folks. Also, no fair parade, and no publishing of the winners of the pageants. Fair board people should all be replaced.
