Prenatal program receives $75,000

Prenatal Pathways, a program by the Community Clinic at St. Francis House, has received a donation of $75,000 from the Beau Foundation.

Prenatal Pathways provides prenatal services to low-income and uninsured women. The donation will allow more uninsured women in Siloam Springs and the surrounding area to receive prenatal care, a news release said.

The program began in March 2005. Since then, more than 4,336 expectant mothers have received care as part of the program, the release said.

The Beau Foundation was created by Terry and Gwen Matthews in memory of their late son Beau Alexander Matthews. The foundation is designed to promote and support prenatal care in Northwest Arkansas.
