ROGERS — Normal trash collection will be interrupted this week because of the holiday.
Inland Services, the company that handles trash collection for the city, will pick up for Friday customers on Saturday this week.
Inland officials ask that excess Christmas trash be at the curb no later than 7 a.m. Saturday through Thursday. Officials also ask that bags be 4 feet to 5 feet away from regular collection cans.
The normal collection schedule will resume Monday.
The Rogers Recycling Center is not responsible for curbside recycling pickup.
The recycling center, at 2300 N. Arkansas St., is open 24 hours a day if residents want to recycle Christmas wrapping paper, cardboard, plastic or glass, said Jerrold Haley, superintendent of the center.
