Fire Damages Eatery

RESTAURANT ON THE CORNER BLAZE UNDER INVESTIGATION

Dennis Ledbetter, fire investigator with the Fayetteville Fire Department, walks out of the Restaurant On The Corner at 3582 Arkansas 112 in Fayetteville on Tuesday. An early morning fire left the restaurant closed and quarantined. The cause of the fire is under investigation, said Battalion Chief Terry Lawson.

An early morning fire Tuesday badly damaged a landmark Fayetteville restaurant. An automatic alarm summoned firefighters to Restaurant On the Corner on Arkansas 112 at Van Asche Drive just before 7 a.m. Tuesday. They found the bar area of the building on fire, said Battalion Chief Terry Lawson.
