BRANSON — Morgan Hook and Taylor Murphy combined to hit seven 3-pointers as Rogers High defeated Branson, Mo. 60-35 Monday night.
Rogers (8-2) led 26-11 at halftime. Hook hit four 3-pointers and finished with 22 points. Murphy finished with nine points on three 3-pointers.
“We played really well, defensively, and we shot the ball well,” said Rogers coach Preston Early. “Branson had trouble scoring on us in the first half. That set the tone.”
The Lady Mounties return to action Dec. 28 when they play in the 16-team GreenBank Classic in Greeneville, Tennessee.
