Entrance fees at Pea Ridge National Military Park will change Jan. 1 in order to meet National Park Service fee regulations.
The new entrance fee will be $5 per adult or a maximum charge of $10 per vehicle and the receipt is honored for seven days. An adult is defined as 16 years old and older. Visitors entering the park by motorcycle will be charged $5 per motorcycle.
A Pea Ridge annual park pass is available for $20. The Interagency Annual Pass, Senior Pass and Access Pass are honored and available at the visitor center.
Fees allow the park to provide interpretative services and facilities, according to a news release. For example, seasonal park guides, special events and firing of the park’s cannon are all made possible through the collection of fees.
