Bonnie Jean Graham

ROGERS — Bonnie Jean Graham, 81, of Rogers died Saturday, Dec. 19, 2009, at Circle of Life Hospice House in Springdale.

Bonnie was born Aug. 20, 1928, in Pea Ridge, to the late Wade Lynch and Kee (Mayfield) Lynch.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her loving husband, Billy Graham; and one sister, Lena Jo Council.

She is survived by her two daughters, Billie Sue Hankins and her husband, Mitchell, of Lowell, and Lois Kinney and her husband, Kenneth, of Rogers; one brother, Jay Lynch of Pea Ridge; and two grandchildren, Michelle Gaffney and husband, Darren, of Rogers, Adam Kinney and wife, Auntalaya, of Rogers; two great-grandchildren, Brett and Sydney Gaffney of Rogers. She is also survived by a loving brother-in-law, Harry (Corky) Council of Rogers; along with a “special sister,” Betty Holland, who helped care for her for an extended time.

Bonnie retired from Glad Manufacturing Company.

Services for Bonnie will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday Dec. 22, at Rollins Funeral Home Chapel in Rogers with interment to follow at Tucks Chapel Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be Harold Spears, Lloyd Jones, Jim Council, Darren Gaffney, Alex Munoz and Mike Seusy.

Jessie M. Harmon

ROGERS — Jessie M. Harmon, age 95, of Rogers died Dec. 14, 2009. She was born in Bromide, Okla., on Dec. 17, 1913, to the late Azor and Martha Margaret (Kinsey) Argo. She married the late Wilbur L. Harmon, April 3, 1936, and they lived together in Joplin, Mo., before relocating to Rogers around 1945.

She graduated from Commerce High School in Commerce, Okla., in 1931 and then graduated from St. John’s Hospital School of Nursing in Joplin, Mo., in June 1935 and passed the state board exam to be a registered nurse. She was a member of the First Christian Church in Rogers and the local Order of the Eastern Star. For more than 29 years, she was co-owner of Rogers Tire Service on Second Street with her husband Wilbur.

Survivors include her granddaughter, Monica King and husband, Michael, of Frisco, Texas; grandson-in-law, Daryl Foreman of Euless, Texas; and great-grandsons, Matt Foreman of Orlando, Florida, and Sterling King of Frisco, Texas.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Wilbur L. Harmon, who died in 1989; her daughters Anne Huff, who died in 2008, and Nancy Harmon who died shortly after birth in 1946; and her granddaughter, Cherri Foreman, who died in 2004.

Visitation will be 10 a.m. to noon on Friday, Dec. 18, 2009, at Callison-Lough Funeral Home, Rogers. Graveside services will be held at 2 p.m. on Friday at Oakwood Cemetery in Neosho, Mo.

Irene Snyder Clark

BENTONVILLE — Irene Snyder Clark of Bentonville passed away at the Circle of Life House in Springdale, Sunday, Dec. 20, 2009. She was born March 4, 1931, at White City, Kan., to Harold Snyder and Coral Jones Snyder. She is preceded in death by her parents; her husband W.L. Bob Clark and her three brothers and their wives, Jack (Oma Lou), Robert (Ima Jean) and Mitchell Snyder.

She graduated from high school in Bentonville in 1949. She holds as one of her greatest accomplishments, her 72-year friendship with Pauline Coons Kirby. They met the first day of school at the age of 6 and have been the dearest of friends ever since. While in high school, she met the love of her life, Wallace L. (Bob) Clark. They married in 1956 and traveled the world as she followed her husband during his Naval career from post to post. Upon Bob’s retirement, they returned to Bentonville and opened one of the first central heat and air conditioning businesses in the county. She was very proud of her 30-year career at Walmart Home Office. She was also a member of the Red Hat Society, the D.A.R. (Daughters of the American Revolution), as well as being a Master Gardener. She also enjoyed her water aerobics class at the Rogers Senior Citizens Center.

She is survived by her three daughters: Susan Weaver and her husband, the Rev. Bill Weaver Jr., of Rogers; Marian Hedges, and her husband, Bob, of Burden, Kan.; and Cathy Ramsey, and her husband, Russell, of Liberty Hill, Texas. She is also survived by four grandchildren: Trey (Amanda) Weaver of Rogers; Macie (Matt) Hedges Panach of Oklahoma City, Okla.; Drew Hedges of Burden, Kan., and Katie Hedges of Shattuck, Okla. She is also survived by two great-grandchildren: Madeline and Jhett Weaver of Rogers.

Graveside services will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday, Dec. 23, 2009, at the Oakley Chapel Cemetery with Pastor Lee Myane officiating. Visitation will be at the Stockdale Funeral Home from 5 to 7 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 22, 2009. A dinner will be held for the family and friends at the Oakley Chapel Church immediately after the service. Aurelia Katherine Johnson

CENTERTON — Aurelia Katherine “Kay” Johnson died Dec. 16, 2009, at her daughter’s home near Centerton. She was born Jan. 25, 1925, in Phoenix to Thomas and Daisy Hoyt Hughes. She grew up in Abilene, Kan., and moved to Arkansas in 1940.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Carl Johnson, and her siblings Robert Hughes, Thomas Hughes, Berniece Hughes and Helen Hughes Earnest.

Survivors include her children, Carol Johnson, Carl R. “Johnny” Johnson, Dan Johnson and Cathy, and Laurie Allen and Ken; three grandchildren, Heather Johnson, Johnny Johnson and his wife, Donna, and Jeremiah Allen; three great-grandchildren, Logan and Todd Johnson and Amanda Edison. Surviving siblings are Mary Johnson, Margaret Coyle, Frankie Langenegger, Becky Hughes and Larry Hughes.

She was employed at Emerson Electric and Union Carbide. Her great pleasures were working, reading, gardening and traveling.

She attended classes at NorthWest Arkansas Community College and traveled extensively after her retirement. Besides touring the United States, she traveled to Canada and many European countries.

She was buried Dec. 18, 2009, with her husband of 62 years at the National Cemetery in Fayetteville.

Margaret Jane Storm

BELLA VISTA — Margaret Jane Storm, 85, of Bella Vista died Sunday, Dec. 20, 2009, at Bradford House in Bentonville. She was born on April 1, 1924, on a farm near Sholes, Neb., to John N. and Fannie M. Mattingly Ream.

She lived most of her young life in Wayne, Neb. After graduation and working, she married Vern D. Storm on Sept. 7, 1947. They moved to Fremont, Neb., where he began his career with Gambles. They were Gamble store owners at Kearney, Neb.

They moved to Bella Vista in 1993. She was a member of the First United Methodist Church, United Methodist Women and Circle, a life member of VFW Auxiliary 759 Kearney and Eastern Star in Wayne, Neb.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Vern Dale Storm on June 30, 1998; one brother; one sister; and a nephew.

She is survived by two daughters, Gail Gewain and husband, Matt, of Tehachapi, Calif., Janie Robinson and husband, Michael, of Bentonville; one grandson, Tim and wife, Ashley, of Bentonville; one granddaughter, Katie Robinson of Bentonville; one sister; Clara Glassmeyer and husband, Merle, of Lexington, Neb.; four nieces and two nephews.

A memorial service will be at the First United Methodist Church in Bella Vista, at a later date. Arrangements are by the Bella Vista Funeral Home & Crematory, 2258 Forest Hills Blvd., Bella Vista.

Margaret Norbeck

BENTONVILLE — Margaret Norbeck, 94, of Bentonville died Dec. 21, 2009, at Circle of Life Hospice in Springdale. She was born May 10, 1915, in Milwaukee to Frank and Clara Joblinski Szymanski.

She was a homemaker.

Survivors include a son, Roger Norbeck and wife Sandy of Bella Vista; two daughters, Judy Davidson and husband Kelly of Bentonville and Nancy Jones of Bentonville; six siblings; eight grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be from noon to service time at Stockdale Funeral Chapel in Rogers.

Funeral will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday at the chapel. Burial will be in Bella Vista Cemetery.
