Couple Robbed At Gunpoint

FAYETTEVILLE Police are seeking three men accused of robbing a couple at gunpoint in their apartment Friday night.
Fayetteville police responded to an armed robbery at the Lakeside Apartments, 2750 N. Club Drive Apt. 6, at about 9:40 p.m. Friday. A couple reported being robbed at gunpoint by three black men.
According to a Fayetteville dispatch log, all three men were disguised in black face masks and were wearing sweat pants at the time of the robbery. One of the men was reportedly wearing a white, zip-up hoodie, while another was wearing a white pullover. The third man was last seen wearing a red hoodie, the dispatch report stated.
The three men reportedly knocked on the couple’s door. When the door was answered, one of the men held a black handgun to one of the victim’s face before punching him and knocking him to the floor. The men fled the scene after taking about $300, the report stated. The male victim told police he chased the men, but was unable to catch them.
They were last seen running west on Sycamore, behind the Greens Apartments, toward Leverett.
