Barber Raises Donations, One Trim at a Time

Carson Jackson, 4, gets his hair cut Saturday by Vic Bradford at Townzen’s Barbershop in downtown Rogers during the shop’s annual holiday fundraiser benefitting the Samaritan Community Center.
By 8:30 Saturday morning, Gary Townzen already had his hands full. Although his barber shop in downtown Rogers was nearly standing room only with mostly middle aged men who seemed to have known Townzen half his life, his barber’s chair was occupied by 8-year-old Jacob Jarding from Garfield.
