A “Spiritual Gifts” workshop, led by Marianne Lockhardt, Quaker traveling minister and spiritual nurturer, will be held at the Fayetteville Friends Meeting (Quakers) from 10:45 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.

Sunday.

St. Andrew’s Episcopal Church in Rogers will host the Right Rev. Larry Benfield, Arkansas Diocese bishop, for his annual visit Sunday. He will confirm new members and celebrate Holy Eucharist at 10 a.m. A reception will follow.

There will be no 8 a.m. service.

The Institute of Music, Worship and the Arts,along with the All Nations House of Prayer & Worship, presents a weekly Zadok Gathering, based on Ezekiel 44:15. Scott and Carolyn Buss lead the music and worship every Saturday at 11 a.m. in the NWA Ministry Center, 2262 Forest Hills Blvd., Bella Vista. This gathering is for believers from all denominations and backgrounds to gather for music, praise and worship.

Hickory Grove Church near Clifty hosts an evening of gospel singing at 7 p.m.

Dec. 31. The church is located on Lynch Hollow Road.

A gospel music concert at the Elkins Community Center at 6 p.m. today benefits the Crystal Hills Family Fellowship Church building fund. Food, including homemade pies, will be available at 5:30 p.m.

Southern Tradition, Stateline Bluegrass and the Sonlighters will perform. Cost: $5.

Rick Katzfey has been named board president of KLife Fayetteville, a nonprofit organization that works with churches and families to encourage kids to be strong in the Lord.

K-Life connects kids from different churches, and those without a church affiliation,to build positive relationships that can withstand the negative peer pressure in today’s youth culture.

Katzfey is a longtime resident of the area, and is a noted meteorologist presiding over the Web site www.WeatherRick.

com. He is also the resident meteorologist for Hog Sports Radio stations.
