Roster issues linger for Hogs

There have been a few fleeting moments this season when Arkansas Coach John Pelphrey has caught himself wondering what it would be like to have all 11 of his scholarship players available for games.

“I might have 10 or 15 seconds of that before I quickly realize that’s not the real world,” Pelphrey said.

In the Razorbacks’ world, they’ve had seven scholarship players miss a combined 30 games because of suspensions and injuries through the first 10 games.

“There’s always something,”freshman forward Glenn Bryant said.

Only four Razorbacks have played in every game this season, and they’re all newcomers: Freshman forward Marshawn Powell, freshman guard Julysses Nobles, and junior forwards Jemal Farmer and Delvon Johnson ...
