Holiday Events Keep Spirits Bright

LAST-MINUTE ADVENTURES WORTH NOTING

One week from today, the presents that have been waiting under the tree will come out of hiding. But until then — and sometimes after — there will be several events in the area to provide distractions from last-minute shopping requests and the baking of festive treats. Here are a few things worth visiting: Santa In Frisco Park Santa and Mrs. Claus will be in the Rogers Historic District from 5 to 7 p.m. today and 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday.
