‘Solid waste’ cut as claim in poultry suit

Judge cites federal law; defense to start case today

A federal judge on Tuesday dismissed one of Oklahoma’s key claims against Arkansas poultry companies, ruling that bird manure isn’t “solid waste” under the federal Resource Conservation and Recovery Act of 1976.
