Man Sentenced To 15 Years

A Siloam Springs man was sentenced to 15 years in prison Monday after admitting to sexually assaulting a 12-year-old girl.

Students Drive ‘Impaired’

Rogers High School student Heather Gatton, 16, drives a golf cart Monday wearing “drunk goggles” with Student Resource Officer Keith Foster at Rogers High School. The goggles simulate a blood alcohol level of 0.08 to 0.15, Foster said. The exercise was sponsored by the DECA Chapter at Rogers High to remind students the effects alcohol has to impair driving and to make wise choices during holiday vacation, said teacher Tom Woodruff.
