Improvements Made To City’s Water Department

Posted: December 14, 2009 at 5:10 a.m.

Some improvements are being made to Bella Vista’s Water Department, according to a Property Owners Association news release.

In order to better serve members and water customers, the water billing department is being revamped.

Beginning Jan. 4, the Water Billing office will be moved to another area of the maintenance and construction division and water department building, 51 Huntley Lane.

The door on the building’s far left will be the new entrance for all water billing transactions. The door in the middle of the building will be the entrance for maintenance and construction division and water department questions. The entrances will be clearly marked.

The Water Billing office will offer four customer service stations and clerks to assist customers in a more private setting, as well as a larger waiting room with a restroom facility.

In addition, a drive-by drop box will be installed.

Office hours will continue to be from 7:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday through Friday, excluding holidays.
