WinterFest To Offer Fun, Food And Santa

— WinterFest, sponsored by Main Street Rogers, is scheduled to kick off at 10 a.m. today in downtown Rogers.

Scheduled events include extended hours for children to tell St. Nick what they want for Christmas at Santa in the Park; Elf House, in the former city hall, where children can buy presents for family members costing between 25 cents and $10; WinterFest Bazaar featuring booths offering baked goods and arts and crafts; and entertainment on the Frisco Stage.

Carriage and miniature train rides will also be available during the festival.

Carolers, dressed in costume, are expected to stroll through downtown. A Christmas pageant is scheduled as is a puppet show.
