FOOTBALL Brown gets raise Texas agreed to raise Coach Mack Brown’s annual salary from $3 million to at least $5 million. Brown, 58, was scheduled to receive a one-time $2 million payment early next year. University system regents agreed to make that an annual payment for the rest of his contract, which runs through 2016.
