ADMINISTRATORS, GUARDS KEEP SPEED COMPLAINTS IN CHECK

Marvin Berggren, a security officer at Bentonville High School, directs traffic Wednesday at the school. Despite recent warnings from school administrators, Berggren and other school safety officials see few speeding problems on campus.

Mere minutes after the final klaxon tone sounded at Bentonville High School on Wednesday afternoon, the three traff c exits from the school were each backed up with dozens of vehicles as about 3,000 students competed to flee the grounds.
