Thank goodness, someone who was also raised in an era where children were expected to behave in public, be polite and respect their elders. Regardless of the "no spanking hooey" that started about the time I had kids, I raised my children as I was raised. And in turn they are raising their children the same. Hopefully enough of the children raised with a spare the rod, spoil the child attitude can save the earth from the golden children who are never correctedl; never made to be responible for their actions; and expected to stand on their own two feet. More than ever children need guidence even if it's a swat on the seat of their pants to get their attention! Good for you Dr. Rosemond
