100 YEARS AGO Dec. 9, 1909 The question of the cost of lighting the state charitable institutions, the electric current for which is furnished by the state electrical plant operated at the new penitentiary, is one which the State Charity Board proposes to take up with the Penitentiary Board at a joint meeting to be held the first Monday in January.
