ATTORNEY SAYS MAYOR CAN ASK ALDERMEN, BUT MUST MAKE APPOINTMENT

Lincoln Mayor Rob Hulse will let the City Council decide whether his brotherin-law or another candidate should be the next chief of police, he said Tuesday.
