Lady Cardinals Rally For Victory

The Farmington Lady Cardinals came away with a 46-41 win Tuesday night over Greenland, rallying from a fourth-quarter deficit.

“Good teams find ways to make plays to win,” Farmington coach Brad Johnson said. “We scrapped and clawed and found a way. It wasn’t pretty by any means, but we’ll take it. At this point in the season, wins are good.”

Greenland (1-6) had a two-point lead entering the fourth quarter but saw it quickly evaporate. Farmington’s Sara Shackelford hit a 3-pointer to give the Lady Cardinals (4-2) a 39-34 lead, and they never looked back.
