Broyles Award report

3rd time no charm for Strong Florida defensive coordinator Charlie Strong isn’t a head coach yet, but he proved Tuesday he can keep his poise in the face of defeat.

Kirby Smart, the University of Alabama defensive coordinator,  was named the 2009 Broyles Award winner at a luncheon, presented by the Rotary Club of Little Rock, at the DoubleTree Hotel, Little Rock.
