For absconders, state ranks third

15.6% slip probation’s, parole’s leash

Almost 16 percent of the people on probation or parole in Arkansas were listed as absconders at the end of last year, the third-highest rate among the 37 states that provided information on probation and parole absconders for a report released Tuesday.
