HOW WE SEE IT: Football And Other Successful Feats

With Har-Ber High School’s 27-6 victory over Fort Smith Southside Saturday night in the 7A state championship game, the Wildcats added to Springdale’s grand gridiron heritage. While we realize the school is only in its fourth year of existence, we also acknowledge that the winning Springdale has been, for as long as we can remember, a football town. Success on the football field is an expectation that rarely goes unfulfilled in Springdale. And this season has been no different. football tradition carried on by that group of young men began long before any of them strapped on a helmet.
