Evans Key To George’s Success

Springdale George opened the season with three straight wins for the first time in school history and the Wranglers split a pair of Northwest Arkansas Conference victories last week and coach Greg White expects the team to compete for a spot in the regional tournament.

George beat Fayetteville Ramay last Monday, but saw a halftime lead disappear in a 56-36 loss to Fayetteville Woodland on Thursday that put the Wranglers at 1-2 in league play. George still has 13 conference games left but White said tonight’s game against Rogers Heritage is a big one.
