Climate progress in reach, U.N. says

A display is set up Sunday on the U.N. Climate Wall at the site in Copenhagen where delegates from around the world are to negotiate a climate-change treaty.

Delegates converged Sunday for the grand finale of two years of tough, sometimes bitter negotiations on a climatechange treaty, and a U.N. report said that pledges offered in the past few weeks to reduce greenhouse gases put the world within reach of keeping global warming under control.
