ANNIVERSARIES

Proctor 70th Mr. and Mrs. Chester Proctor of Marshall will celebrate their sapphire wedding anniversary with a reception from 2 to 4 p.m. Dec. 6, 2009, at Marshall Senior Center in Marshall. Chester Proctor and Oma Bigham were married Dec. 9, 1939, at the home of Sarah Nola Bigham in Beadville by Justice of the Peace M.G. McFadden. They have two daughters, the late Lavonne Proctor and the late Jeanette Proctor Jennings; and five grandchildren, Bryan Jennings of Colorado, Leah Jennings-Johnson of Knoxsville, Tenn., and James Jennings, Leslie Jennings and Lucas Jennings, all of Fayetteville.
