Request Goes Before School Board

Briana Barganier works on a cheer Friday during cheer practice at Washington Junior High School in Bentonville. The Bentonville school district approved a measure Thursday extending dance team members’ and cheerleaders’ in-school practice time to the spring semester.

Cheerleaders and dance team members attending Lincoln and Washington junior high schools will be given more practice time throughout the school year, if the school board approves a request accepted by the district’s curriculum committee Thursday.
