100 YEARS AGO Dec. 5, 1909 That there will be as few changes as possible in the shake-up of the Rock Island system, following the separation of the Rock Island and Frisco and change in officials of the Rock Island, and that in the future the Rock Island will be operated “from Chicago and not from Wall Street” is the statement given out by H.U. Mudge, the new President of the Rock Island, at Chicago.
