HOW WE SEE IT: Citizenship For Service? Of Course

America is fortunate to have a long tradition of immigrants serving in its military. These soldiers have put their lives in danger to guard our freedoms despite the fact that some have not been granted the privilege of citizenship. As of June, about 8 percent of the nation’s 1.4 million men and women serving the U.S. armed forces were foreigners.
