Blackston Gets 28 Years In Plea Agreement
HE ADMITTED ROLE IN DEATH OF MIGUEL BARRON

A Benton County Sheriff’s deputy escorts a handcuffed Willie Blackston to a prisoner transport vehicle Monday in Bentonville after Blackston pleaded guilty to second-degree murder. Blackston was charged with causing injuries that resulted in the death of Miguel Barron on Jan. 5, 2008.
The cases for two men arrested in connection with a co-worker’s death ended Monday morning with one man sentenced to prison and the other no longer facing criminal charges.
