Beebe’s state budget proposal due Tuesday

LITTLE ROCK Gov. Mike Beebe’s proposed budget for the state’s fiscal year 2011 is due to be made public Tuesday as the state moves toward its first “fiscal” legislative session, scheduled to begin Feb. 8.
The current year’s budget has been slashed by about $100 million since the fiscal year began July 1 with state revenue falling short of what has been predicted by the Department of Finance and Administration.
