Secchi disk simple but effective tool

Bre Thompson, from left, Dalton Thompson, Ken Abrams, Barry Thompson and Marsha Abrams boarded a boat with their Secchi disk and equipment for a trip from Prairie Creek to Rocky Branch to take part in the fourth annual Secchi Day on Beaver Lake on Saturday.

Community members got the chance to help out with an important project while soaking up the sun on Beaver Lake on Saturday.
