FAYETTEVILLE When Habitat razes, not raises, it 'deconstructs'

Non-profit's crews can salvage up to 90% of homes they down

Mike Wallner said a prayer before Habitat for Humanity of Washington County began its first house "deconstruction." "It was built with loving care," he told the group of 20 helpers at 8:30 a.m. Saturday. "It will be taken apart with loving care - for the most part."
