Study: Construction costs, student success separate

Steven A. Peterson, a professor of politics and public affairs at Pennsylvania State University - Harrisburg, speaks to members of the local community Friday about the impact school construction has on student learning in the University of Arkansas' Graduate Education Building on campus.

The amount of money schools spend on construction does not have a measurable effect on student achievement, according to one study by an education researcher.
