Gatling's View : A novel concept: Naming a football stadium after someone

Here's what I know. ◊I know members of the Fort Smith School Board solidified a novel idea Monday night by agreeing unanimously that the football stadium at Southside High School should be renamed from Southside Stadium to Jim Rowland Stadium. Rowland, a former FSS head coach, is the athletics director for Fort Smith schools and is only four years away from serving the district in one capacity or another for 50 years.
