Construction breaks ground on Orchards Park, shown below in an artist rendering, on Wednesday. The 16-acre park will serve as the city's first passive recreation park, positioned between Memorial Park and Crystal Bridges Museum of American Art, setting it up to become the poster park of the city for decades to come.
Bentonville Parks and Recreation manager David Wright's office is at 305 S.W. A St., inside the Community Development Building, but it's not uncommon for him to take a detour on his way in or out of work.
