100 YEARS AGO Aug. 22, 1909 The State Capitol Commission yesterday instructed Governor Donaghey, chairman of that body, to confer with the attorney general relative to the advisability of the commission filing a suit against Caldwell & Drake for the recovery of money alleged to be due the state for alleged defective work and noncompliance with the contract on the state capitol.
